Our Services
Commodity Risk Management
The CMA is a specialised service designed for trade financing, where the lender requires continuous supervision and control over financed commodities being stored, processed, or distributed by a borrower. DRUM provides 24/7 visibility, safeguarding the lender’s position in even the most remote parts of the world.
The SMA is a multi-party agreement, where the lender needs oversight of inventory levels and movements, but 24/7 supervision and control are not required. DRUM monitors stock through periodic checks, reconciles records, and provides regular reporting to maintain visibility and lender confidence.
Borrowing Base Services
The Borrowing Base Audits are used in trade financing, where the lender requires an integrated on‑site inspection of pledged inventory and a financial audit of the books to confirm that the collateral exists, is eligible, correctly valued and fully reconciled with the Borrowing Base Report.
The Borrowing Base Agent service supports trade‑finance facilities by providing lenders with an independent review of each Borrowing Base Certificate and its underlying data. DRUM verifies calculations and market values, tracks collateral, and keeps eligibility and compliance on course for the life of the facility.
Distressed Situations
The Floating‑to‑Fixed Charge Conversion is used in distressed situations where lenders need to secure fixed‑charge priority in case of insolvency. DRUM’s unique approach has proved to establish the possession required to legally convert a floating charge security to a fixed‑charge status.
Controlled Liquidation is used in enforcement or recovery scenarios where pledged goods must be sold. DRUM prepares inventory for auction by verifying, organising, and managing stock to ensure maximum traceability and value realisation.
Supply Chain Investigations
The Pre‑Finance Due Diligence gives lenders a full risk scan before funds flow. DRUM pairs on‑the‑ground commodity know‑how with comprehensive KYC and forensic analysis of financing terms, contracts and ledgers to uncover operational bottlenecks and legal gaps.
Fraud Investigations step in when collateral vanishes or values don’t add up. DRUM traces goods across supply chains, uncovers forged documents, exposes double financing, and ultimately gathers the evidence financiers need to recover assets and substantiate insurance or legal claims.
